Mission Lab is a hands-on mission experience in New Orleans, Louisiana for a wide range of ages that provides opportunities to practically serve the community, share your faith, and get firsthand missions training.

We hope to send a team this summer from June 27 - July 4 for hands-on ministry and sharing the gospel. MissionLab is hosted on the campus of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, which provides housing, meals, worship venue, meeting rooms, and recreation opportunities for our teams!
Size of Team: 10-12 people (half from Calvary and half from Launch Campus Ministry)
Cost: $500 Cost includes registration fees, travel, lodging, and food. Does not include fun money or meals during travel days. $250 due by May 1st + $250 due by June 15th
Age Requirements: 18 and up.
Will I need training? The team will meet ahead of time to work on evangelism training as part of the trip will involve street evangelism as well as hands-on projects.
What Will We Do? Our team will leave Calvary early on Saturday, June 27, and make the 15-hour drive to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where we’ll get settled into our dorm rooms.
On Sunday, we’ll attend church together, enjoy lunch, and spend the afternoon sightseeing. The mission week officially begins that evening with dinner and worship.
On Monday morning, we’ll start with missions training before heading to our first ministry site. From Tuesday through Thursday, the team will serve at one ministry site in the morning and another in the afternoon. Each evening, we’ll gather with other teams for dinner and worship.
On Friday, we’ll check out of the dorms, share breakfast together at a local restaurant, and begin the drive back to Indiana. Depending on the team’s needs, we may stay overnight in a hotel on Friday and complete the trip home on Saturday.
